Japan has won a special mention for its national participation in the 15th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice, directed by Alejandro Aravena. The Japanese pavilion hosts the exhibition "en:art of nexus", curated by Yoshiyuki Yamana.

Prizes at the International Architecture Exhibition in Venice

On May 28, opening day of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition - Biennale di Venezia, Golden Lions were awarded for the best national national participation and the best participant, while a Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement was awarded to Paulo Mendes da Rocha.

Architects Aljoša Dekleva and Tina Gregori? of Dekleva Gregori? architects are the curators of the Slovenian pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Home at Arsenale is a wooden installation, a habitable structure containing about 300 volumes selected by architects, artists and critics focusing on the theme of the home.
