BIG designs IQON, the tallest residential building in Quito

In Quito, the capital of Ecuador, the BIG architecture studio recently completed its first building in South America. IQON is a mixed-use residential building with offices and commercial units which, with its 130 metres of height, has become the tallest building in the city.

The BIG architecture studio has presented the design of the new Neuroscience Centre for the University Hospital in Aarhus, Denmark, a structure whose folds will evoke the shape of the cerebral cortex. The 15th edition of the World Architecture Festival will take place in Lisbon in 2022.
