The Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin presents an unusual exhibition, as it is not dedicated to a finished work, but to a work in progress, narrating the various steps of the process leading to its completion. The focus of the exhibition is the Reinhard Ernst Museum designed by architect Fumihiko Maki to house entrepreneur Reinhard Ernst's private abstract art collection, scheduled to open in 2023 in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Novartis Pavilion in Basel by AMDL CIRCLE

A new pavilion designed by architect Michele De Lucchi and his architecture firm, AMDL CIRCLE, is the first publicly accessible building on the Novartis Campus in Basel, Switzerland. The Novartis Pavilion, a multifunctional architecture created in collaboration with the Blaser Butscher Architekten AG firm, features a distinctive zero-energy media façade designed by iart and houses a permanent multimedia exhibition designed by ATELIER BRÜCKNER.

Art in ceramics and on ceramics - performance painting by Camilla Falsini

As part of Clerkenwell Design Week in London, the Iris Ceramica Group is promoting a performance painting by street artist Camilla Falsini curated by Yourban2030 at its London flagship store. The artist was invited to create a work of art on ceramic inspired by the works of the Memphis Movement, displayed in the showroom for the exhibition "Ceramics: Neverending Artworks".

Two important additions enrich the Vitra Campus collection. From May 14 at the Vitra Schaudepot, the "exhibition depot" designed by the Herzog & De Meuron studio, it is possible to visit Luis Barragán's Archive, the most important Mexican architect of the 20th century. On the same day "Colour Rush! An Installation by Sabine Marcelis" was also inaugurated. The Dutch designer has conceived a new installation based on colour to present to the public, in a whole new perspective, the permanent collection kept in the Vitra Schaudepot.

Ceramics: Neverending Artworks exhibition at Clerkenwell Design Week

During Clerkenwell Design Week, the Iris Ceramica Group’s London flagship store presents Ceramics: Neverending Artworks, an exhibition produced in collaboration with Antonia Jannone - Disegni di Architettura accompanied by a live performance by street artist Camilla Falsini. In the wake of its great success in Milan, the exhibition of more than 20 iconic ceramic artworks by 11 world-famous designers will be on view until 3 June in Clerkenwell, in the heart of London’s design district.

NEXT500 pavilion: MVRDV for the Fuggerei in Augsburg

To celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Fuggerei in Augsburg, Germany, the world’s oldest social housing complex, studio MVRDV has designed a CLT pavilion based on the dictates of the circular economy. Inside is an exhibition about what goes on at the Fuggerei and a vision for its future, also curated by MVRDV, suggesting three proposals for helping people in need live dignified, self-determined lives.
