Luzinterruptus at Mumbai Urban Art Festival

In January, Spanish artists’ collective Luzinterruptus brought "The Plastic We Live With“ to the Mumbai Urban Art Festival (MUAF): a high-impact installation revealing the abundance of plastic that surrounds us. The collective’s artistic and aesthetic approach encourages reflection on the ubiquitousness of the material, which gets into the things we eat and right into our bodies.

Plastic: the counter-revolution! The debate is open

A major exhibition entitled Plastic: Remaking Our World is underway at the Vitra Design Museum, investigating one of the phenomena most characteristic of the past century: the development of plastic, and its transformation from resource into global problem. LuzInterruptus The Plastic We Live With at the Jelsa Art Biennial

Circular economy and design: a pavilion by Various Associates

Chinese design firm Various Associates has been commissioned by the Shenzhen Institute of Interior Design to create the pavilion for the DESIGN IN BAY AREA exhibition. Various Associates made use of recycled materials, a modular construction method to reduce waste, and the circular economy in light of the temporary nature of the installation.
