An exhibition of architectural projects which have won prizes or honourable mentions in the Dedalo Minosse International Prize is open until September 18 2011.

Dedalo Minosse International Prize On June 24 the ceremony concluding the eighth Dedalo Minosse International Prize for Commissioning a Building was held.
The event shifts the focus from the architect to the client, an equally important figure in constructing quality architectural projects.
During the ceremony the 4 usual awards and 8 special awards were presented, including the Nievo Special Prize dedicated to the famous writer who presided over the panel of judges from the first edition of the competition until his death in 2006, and prizes awarded by sponsors Caoduro Lucernari and GranitiFiandre, by promoters and by Arca magazine.
In eight editions the Dedalo Minosse Award has registered growing interest with submission of projects from 52 different countries designed for clients including private sector companies, public sector organisations, institutions and foundations: a complex, wide-ranging selection of projects.
The judges pay special attention to architectural projects demonstrating awareness of social, territorial and environmental sustainability, conservation of our environmental and architectural heritage, use of innovative technologies and materials, and ability to draw on local traditions and idioms. The exhibition of competing projects will continue until September 18 2011.
